Hi, my name is Aaron Nielsen. I'm 25 years old and graduated with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering in December 2008. I graduated from Colorado State University in May 2007 with Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. In graduate school, my degree specialty was Digital Communications and I also spent a year researching applications of Algebraic Number Theory in MIMO Communication Systems.

In my free time, I like to hike, camp, see live music, and travel. In the past year, my travels have included a month-long trip around Southeast Asia (Thailand, China, Hong Kong, and Japan), a week-long trip to Chicago, Illinois, and a two week trip around Western Europe (Germany, Belgium, Austria, and the Netherlands). I have also spent two summers traveling around Europe. As for future trips, I would love to see Morocco, Iceland, Finland, Nepal, and Peru. My parents, Barb and Daryl, live in Fort Collins, Colorado. My dad works Farm Credit Services in Greeley, Colorado, where he works in farm loans. My mom is the property manager of Aspenleaf Apartments in Fort Collins, Colorado. I have four brothers- Jon, age 36, Chad, age 33, Brian, age 29, and Justin, age 24. Lastly, I have two cats- one orange tabby and one orange/white manx. I am pictured to the left with my brothers.
